Impact/Influence Grid / Impact over Influence grid - Stakeholder Management
The impact/Influence grid can also be read as influence over impact grid or influence over interest grid, it is a tool used in stakeholder analysis and management to understand and categorize stakeholders based on their level of influence and their interest or impact on a project initiative. This grid helps identify stakeholders that are critical and non-critical for the project and create appropriate strategies to communicate or engage with them. The impact/Influence grid is a usual 4 quadrant grid created based on two aspects i.e. impact and influence as shown in the below grid. High Influence, High Impact/Interest: Stakeholders in this quadrant have significant influence or power and are highly impacted by or interested in the project. They are considered key stakeholders and require active engagement and close management. Their needs, concerns, and perspectives should be given high priority.
